This innovative rack case features a unique Top Slam sliding door design where the front and rear doors lift upward and retract neatly into the top section of the case, eliminating removable lids and allowing quick, unobstructed access to rack-mounted equipment during setup and operation.
Designed to accommodate standard 19-inch rack mount equipment, this compact 2U vertical rack case is ideal for professional gear such as wireless microphone receivers, in-ear monitor systems, signal processors, power conditioners, audio interfaces, network switches, lighting control processors, broadcast equipment, and other rack-mounted electronics commonly used in DJ systems, live sound setups, AV installations, and technical production environments. The rack features 14 inches of mounting depth between the front and rear rack rails, providing secure installation for a wide variety of compact rack devices used in touring racks, production control systems, and installed equipment racks.
The front and rear retractable sliding doors include recessed press-to-unlock latches. Simply press upward to release the latch and lift the door, allowing it to slide smoothly into the top storage channel of the case. This smart design keeps the doors safely contained within the case while open, eliminating loose lids, reducing setup clutter, and allowing technicians to work efficiently around rack systems in tight production spaces, stages, control rooms, and mobile setups.
For maximum equipment safety, the case features a high-performance shock-absorbing internal shockmount mounted to rack rails isolates your gear from vibration and impact during transport and handling. Rack height is measured in rack units (RU), where 1RU equals 1.75 inches.
