The ProX MB-20 is a 20-inch mirror disco ball built for full-size nightclubs, event venues, large bars, ballrooms, and production rigs where the ball needs to be seen and felt across the entire room. At this scale, the MB-20 generates the kind of immersive, signature reflection field that defines a serious dance floor installation.

Every MB-20 is constructed around a high-density Polystyrene foam (EPS) core. EPS is the gold-standard material for professional mirror ball construction thanks to its rare combination of light weight, structural rigidity, and long-term stability. The closed-cell foam structure resists moisture, will not warp or crack under stage lighting heat, and holds an accurate spherical profile across years of nightly use, ensuring smooth rotation and consistent, evenly distributed reflections.

The full exterior is finished with precision-cut high-grade glass mirror tiles measuring 10mm (3/8"), featuring a premium silvered backing that delivers maximum reflectivity, true color rendering, and crisp beam definition. The tiles are produced to consistent thickness with clean square edges for tight uniform placement across the sphere, and the mirror coating is sealed against tarnishing to maintain its bright silver finish over years of professional touring and venue use. Each tile is individually bonded with a professional-grade high-strength adhesive engineered to hold securely through continuous rotation, vibration, transport, and the realities of touring environments. ProX mirror balls feature an increased tile count compared to traditional designs, producing a denser pattern of reflected beams and brighter, more color-saturated coverage.

Inside the ball, a steel reinforcement rod runs the full vertical length from top to bottom, anchored at each end by a heavy-duty removable O-ring and secured by an M10 nut for maximum mounting strength. These provide strong, balanced attachment points for hanging hardware and mirror ball motors, engineered to support the ball reliably during long runs of continuous rotation. The MB-20 is fully compatible with the ProX X-MBM-2 (1 RPM) mirror ball motor (sold separately) and works universally with any standard 1 RPM motor system.
