Featuring the ProX XT-CRANK18FT-500 18 Ft. Heavy-Duty Crank Truss Stand, a serious lifting solution built for live events, mobile DJ setups, and production environments where you need reliable overhead rigging without compromising on safety or capacity. This stand is engineered to take on the heavy work, so you can focus on the show.
500 lb. Center Load Capacity The ProX CRANK18FT-500 is rated to support up to 500 lbs. at center load, making it one of the most capable stands in its class for mid-scale lighting and truss applications. When paired with a second ProX CRANK18FT-500 stand and any compatible truss length using the included T-Adapter, the combined system supports a maximum total load of 1,000 lbs., giving you serious overhead capacity for larger setups.
18 Ft. Maximum Lift Height This stand raises your truss and lighting to a maximum height of 18 feet, giving you the vertical reach needed for medium to large venue productions, stage shows, and live events. The minimum height starts at 74 inches, so you have a solid working range between ground level setup and full extension.
Heavy-Duty All-Metal Construction Built from heavy-duty steel and aluminum components, the ProX CRANK18FT-500 is designed to handle the stress of repeated setups and teardowns. There are no shortcuts in the build quality here. Every structural element is chosen for strength and long-term reliability under working conditions.
Smooth Cranking Mechanism The integrated heavy-duty cranking winch lets you lift and lower loads without directly handling the weight yourself. Turn the winch handle clockwise to raise the tower, and counter-clockwise to lower it. This keeps your crew safer and makes height adjustments much more manageable, especially under load.
Outrigger Base with Wide Footprint The base features independently adjustable leg braces and nylon-guided leg sliders that open to a base diameter of 83.85 inches (7 feet). This wide stance provides a stable platform when the stand is fully extended and loaded. The base closes down to 24" x 19" for transport and storage.
Integrated Casters for Easy Positioning Casters are built into the base, allowing you to roll the stand into position on stage before locking it in place. This makes repositioning faster and easier during load-in and setup without needing to fully break down the stand.
T-Adapter Truss Mount Included The ProX CRANK18FT-500 comes with the T-Adapter truss mount included, so you have what you need to connect your truss right out of the box. The T-Adapter fits 2-inch outer diameter tube stands and works with ProX XT-TADAPTER-500 compatible truss components.
Folds Compactly for Transport Despite its size and capacity, this stand folds down to a portable configuration for loading and transport. Exterior dimensions when stored are 76"H x 20"W x 24"L, and the full unit weighs 320 lbs. Shipping is handled via LTL freight on a 48x40x82-inch skid.
Part of the Truss SQ System The ProX CRANK18FT-500 is designed to work as part of the broader ProX Truss SQ system. It pairs with ProX F34 square truss segments, junction blocks, and T-Adapters to build out temporary lighting rigs for DJ events, live bands, corporate productions, and touring applications.
Safety First, Every Time Before every use, a competent person should inspect all rigging hardware, stands, and equipment for signs of wear or damage. All safety mechanisms including safety pins and locking knobs must be secured before lifting. Loads must be centered and balanced on each lifting unit, and a safety perimeter with a radius of at least 5 feet greater than the maximum height of the stand should be maintained during all lifting and lowering operations. When used outdoors, secure the tower with braces or cables to account for wind. Do not attempt to move the stand when it is loaded or in an extended position. Cable, pulleys, and telescopic masts must be inspected before each use, and any damaged cable must be replaced immediately. Annual inspection by an authorized technician is recommended.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
To avoid problems a competent person should inspect all rigging hardware, stands and equipment before each use and periodically do a major inspection for signs of wear, abuse and general adequacy, as well as perform any manufacturer recommended preventive maintenance on schedule. Observe all warnings and usage instructions in the full manual. Use at your own risk.

Check the cable, it should not show damaged or flattened areas nor broken strands.
Using the Winch:
For Lifting the tower, turn the winch handle clockwise.
For lowering the tower, turn the winch handle counter-clockwise.
Safety Notes:
Loading on truss and stands should comply with rated weights.
Lock all the safety mechanisms (safety pins, knobs)
Loads must be centered & balanced on each lifting unit.
Safety chains must be installed on each item attached to unit.
Leave a safety perimeter with a radius 5ft greater than the maximum height of the stands during lifting and lowering of loads.
During transport, close all the sections and lock the lifting carriage.
Do not attempt to move the stand when loaded or in extended position.
Service Notes:
