ProX builds the XS-DDJ1000WLT around a rugged 3/8-inch plywood shell surrounded by reinforced aluminum edging and heavy-duty steel ball corners. High-density foam surrounds the controller to help protect it from the bumps and vibrations encountered during regular transportation.
Recessed hardware helps prevent handles and latches from snagging or taking direct impacts, while the tongue-and-groove construction creates a secure fit when the case is closed.
