Rather than relying on a standard base plate setup, the ProX XTP-GS2023 is built around the XT-GSBMK3 Universal Vertical Tower Ground Support Bases. These are wheeled units with integrated leveling jacks that sit at the base of each vertical tower. What makes this system visually and structurally distinct is the outrigger configuration. Four sets of XT-GSOUTS3X2 Ground Support Outrigger Stabilizers extend horizontally outward from each tower base along the ground, with diagonal bracing running up to the vertical tower. This creates a wide, low-profile stabilizing footprint at ground level that resists lateral forces and provides the structural confidence needed for outdoor productions where uneven terrain and wind load are real concerns. This is a meaningful difference over fixed base plate variants and is central to what makes this an outdoor-capable system.
Five-Segment Top Bar for Centered Video Wall Placement The horizontal fly bar spanning the full 20-foot width of this system is assembled from five F34 square truss segments. This five-segment layout creates clearly defined structural intervals across the top bar, giving you the ability to center your LED video wall panels within the span with precision and symmetry. Whether you are flying a tight center screen or filling the majority of the width, the five-segment top bar gives you the reference points to position your wall exactly where it needs to be. For video wall productions where visual centering and pixel alignment matter, the geometry of the top bar is as important as anything else in the rig.
Tower Structure and Hinge System The vertical towers rise from the outrigger bases through the XT-HINGEX4 hinge joint packs, which provide conical tube male-to-male hinge connections compatible with F31, F32, and F34 truss formats. Two XT-BLOCK-MK2 four-way sleeve block corners tie the vertical towers and horizontal top bar together at the critical load transition points. Two XT-TOPCM top sections sit at the peak of each tower, interfacing the structure directly with the chain hoist system and rated for electric motor or manual chain hoist loads up to 4 tons.
Chain Hoist System The package includes one pair of XT-MCH1TX2-30FT 1-ton manual chain hoists, each with 30 feet (9 meters) of chain. These are the lifting mechanism that raises the fully assembled horizontal truss and video wall to working height. The 30-foot chain fall provides generous height range across a wide variety of production scenarios and venue types.
F34 Square Truss Construction All truss segments in this system are manufactured from EN-AWT6 6082 aluminum alloy, a high-strength material used throughout professional staging applications. Each XT-SQ984 segment measures 9.84 feet (3 meters) in length with an 11.42-inch by 11.42-inch cross section. Main tubes are 2 inches in diameter with a 2mm wall thickness. Two additional XT-SQ328 segments at 3.28 feet (1 meter) each are also included for supplemental structural configuration within the system.
F35 Compatibility The ProX F35 system is a compatible center piece for the unit, and adds a fifth central tube, allowing LED panels to hang directly from the center of the structure—improving balance, safety, and efficiency. While standard F34 box truss is excellent for general lighting and scenic applications, LED video walls introduce front-loaded and centralized weight that benefits from a dedicated hang point. TUV Certified Welding Every ProX truss product in this package carries TUV certified welding. TUV is an independent, third-party certification body and a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) that provides testing, inspection, and certification against internationally recognized safety standards. This is not a self-certification. It is an independently verified quality standard that matters when lives and equipment depend on the structure overhead.
Industry-Standard F34 Compatibility The conical connector system used throughout this package follows industry-standard F34 dimensions, meaning these segments are compatible with many other manufacturers' F34 truss products. This gives you flexibility to expand or integrate with existing truss inventory you may already own.
Manufactured In-House ProX manufactures this truss line in its own factory, which means tighter control over material selection, welding quality, and dimensional tolerances at every step of production.
Dimensions at a Glance The XT-SQ984 truss segments are 118.08 inches in length. The XT-BLOCK-MK2 sleeve blocks measure 18.50 inches high by 22.50 inches wide and deep. The XT-GSBMK3 tower bases ship in boxes measuring 9 inches high by 29 inches wide and deep. The full system ships on one skid measuring 120 x 40 x 75 inches at a total shipping weight of approximately 850 lbs via LTL freight.

This system must be installed and verified by a qualified professional rigger. Ballast and guy wire assemblies must be installed per engineering drawings to meet certification requirements. Ballast & Safety Information (Important): Ballast is NOT included with this package. Users must consult a qualified engineer or production professional to determine the appropriate ballast weight required for their specific LED panel configuration, height, and environmental conditions. For maximum safety and structural security, ProX recommends using ballast weight equal to the total installed LED panel weight. Acceptable ballast solutions may include sandbags or steel ballast weights, depending on venue requirements, load calculations, and local safety regulations. Proper ballast placement and weight distribution are essential to ensure a safe and stable installation.
